VBS 2012 SONRISE NATIONAL PARK
JUNE 25-29
Find the True Power of Jesus’ Promises! Get ready for exciting wilderness
thrills as you head out to beautiful SonRise National Park where all trails
lead to Jesus! Our theme verse for
the week is Philippians 4:19: “My God will meet all your needs according
to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Register in the Atrium beginning Sunday, April 15 through
Sunday, May 20. All children must
be registered in order to attend.
We are excited about the work God is going to do during this week – in
hearts both big and small as we learn to depend on Jesus as our all-powerful
Guide and Savior! Volunteers are needed to
fill many roles from Storytellers to Decorators to Recreation helpers. If you would like to volunteer your
time and/or gifts in any way, please contact us at 451-4632 for Lisa Yantek,
Elementary or 451-4633 for Gina Walsh, Preschool. We also ask for your
prayers – for eternal fruit to be sown and for God’s glory to be had!

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Register in the Atrium Sundays beginning April 15 through
May 20 and Wednesdays beginning April 18 through May 16. The $10.00
registration fee includes t-shirt, craft and snack each day. Payment must accompany the completed and signed registration form. Deadline
to register is Sunday, May 20th.
Nursery: For children of on-site
volunteers; infants to age 3 after 9/1/11.
Preschool VBS: For preschoolers age
3 by 9-1-11 to age 5 of NEPC families.
Elementary VBS: For rising 1st-5th
graders is open to the community.
Rise Up VBS: For rising 6th
graders is open to the community ($40.00 fee includes t-shirt and daily
off-site activity.)
IMPORTANT DATES:
May 20: Last Day to Register for VBS!
May 20: Mandatory VBS Volunteer Kick-Off
Meeting @ 4:00 p.m. in the Red Promiseland Room. If you signed up to volunteer for VBS this mandatory meeting
is for you. Meet your VBS
Coordinator and find out what team you will be serving on.
June 5, 6, 12, 13,
19, 20: VBS Work Days – Come
serve the Lord by using your gifts and talents. Childcare available for infants through five-year-old
preschoolers.
June 10 & 17: VBS T-Shirt Pick-Up Days in Atrium and
Preschool Welcome Center
June 24:
Mandatory Walk-Thru for All Volunteers @ 4:00 in the Grand Hall
June 25-29: SonRise National Park VBS; the very
best week of the year!
