The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in worship each Sunday for the 11:00 traditional worships service in the Sanctuary. The choir year is from mid August through June and rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 in the Choir Room. During the summer, music is presented by soloists and small ensembles while the choir takes a six week break. The Chancel Choir presents musicals performed with full orchestra during the Christmas and Easter seasons each year. Special music is also presented for Independence Day Sunday and for commemorative occasions.

Auditions are not required; however, it is necessary to have a good ear for music in order to participate. We welcome adults and high school students to sing in the Chancel Choir. We encourage you to visit a rehearsal if you are interested without any obligation to join the choir.

Kick-off for the 2010-2011 choir year will be August 25 from 7:00 to 8:30. There are spots available for all voice parts, but there is a special need for First Sopranos.
