The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in worship each Sunday for the 11:00 traditional worships service in the Sanctuary. The choir year is from mid August through June and rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 in the Choir Room. During the summer, music is presented by soloists and small ensembles while the choir takes a six week break. The Chancel Choir presents musicals performed with full orchestra during the Christmas and Easter seasons each year. Special music is also presented for Independence Day Sunday and for commemorative occasions.
Auditions are not required; however, it is necessary to have a good ear for music in order to participate. We welcome adults and high school students to sing in the Chancel Choir. If you are interested, please visit a rehearsal without any obligation to join the choir.
