at 451-4621 and he can connect you with some students from your school. As you become part of our High School Ministry, you'll notice that our basic two goals are to connect with others and to connect with God. We're struggling together to figure out how we can do a better job of making Jesus our King. Hope to see you soon!

SUNDAY SCHOOL (9:45 - 10:45 a.m.)
The High School Sunday School class is an interactive teaching time where we discuss God and the Bible in light of the High School culture and pursue application to grow to be more like Jesus.

SMALL GROUPS
High School small groups are the most challenging and rewarding way to grow closer to other students and to God. Each group does its own thing, so check them out. There's a place for you.
CONNECT
(Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) - This is our large group environment where all the high school students meet together to connect with each other and connect with God. We typically have games, refreshments, videos, worship music, Bible teaching and just time to hang out and be like a family together. Connect meets during the school year.
BIG EVENTS
FALL
Cedar Cliff Fall Retreat - This is our annual fall retreat that always proves to be one of the most exciting and edifying times in the youth ministry at our church. Middle and High School students take a trip to Cedar Cliff in North Carolina and spend a weekend worshiping, learning, playing and fellowshiping together along with other church groups that we invite to participate. This is always an amazing time with each other and with God!
WINTER
Christmas Party - Merry Christmas! All of the high school students get together at someone's house to celebrate with food and fellowship. And remember to bring a white elephant gift - this is always hilarious!
Winter Retreat - Near the beginning of every year, we have an in-town retreat at the church and students stay at host-homes and we have sessions with worship music and teaching and spend a day serving the city. These retreats include both the Middle and High School students and are similar to the common "Disciple Now" weekends.
SPRING
Spring Break Trip - During Spring Break we take a fun trip somewhere as a group. This is a great time to take a break from school as we get to know each other and God better.
SUMMER
Days of Freshness - A time for rising freshmen to be introduced to the High School Ministry.
Mission Project - Every summer our youth group serves either in our own community, in a city somewhere in the US, or in another country as we seek to be servants of Christ to the needs all around us.
Summer Camp - Every summer the high school group takes a trip to a camp where we meet with many other students or a private trip where we have a retreat experience with just our church friends and invited guests. These events are great times to get away, have a blast during the summer, and mature in our faith.

"The Middle School Ministry of NEPC exists to help guide students to relate their daily thoughts, emotions, actions, and decisions to the God who is a work to transform their lives." -adapted by Rick Dunn
"As a college student, I remember connecting strongly to what Dunn said about youth ministry. It is my passion to see students connect the truths of the Gospel to their everyday lives. With the temptation to compartmentalize our life, "school life", "church life", "sports life", "home life", we want to be challenged together to be one person, pursuing Jesus, and receiving the love and sonship He pours out on us."

ON SUNDAYS
Sunday School (9:45 - 10:45 a.m.) - Our atmosphere on Sunday mornings before worship is to come together as a large group to fellowship, eat donuts and play games before we split into two groups (a guys class and a girls class) to learn biblical principles taught by dedicated teachers who love students! Check us out in the D-100 Hall.
Supper and Small Groups (5:30 - 7:00 p.m.) - Come out and eat a $2.00 supper with us and then head to a small group (guys and girls separate). This is an environment where we are encouraged to grow and share, while learning about Biblical truths.
ON WEDNESDAYS
Connect (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) - This is our large group environment. Each grade is divided to rotate through different activity stations (teaching, games, recreation, prayer emphasis). High energy and lots to do and learn.
BIG EVENTS

WINTER
Christmas Party - Each year we have a Christmas party where we exchange presents and do a service project to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

Spring Break - Each year, we try to set up a few fun activities for students to participate in during Spring Break, like whitewater rafting in North Carolina.
SUMMER
Rise Up - This is a special track for rising 6th graders during the week of VBS. Each day, we take students off-site to swim, bowl, skate, etc. to help students transition into the Middle School Ministry.
Summer Camp - Go Camp: Summer is great because of Go Camp (okay, it's because there's no school.) You will LOVE this camp or your money back (just kidding about that last part.)
