Even though the deadline to register has passed, we hope you will make your own commitment to join your NEPC friends and family in a virtual Walk to Jerusalem that will promote your physical, spiritual, and mental health. The journey to Jerusalem began on January 11, 2010 and we plan to arrive by Easter to join in the celebration of the resurrection - a glorious time for Christians. Each week we will update you with the miles walked collectively by all the participants.

JOURNEY UPDATE:
*As of Monday, February 22, 2010, we have walked 8883 miles. This week, our Walk to Jerusalem virtual tour is taking through Austria and are headed to Ukraine. Be sure to review the fun geography facts on these two countries that are in your packet.
*As of Monday, February 15, 2010, we have walked 7827 miles. This week, our Walk to Jerusalem virtual tour was slowed down a bit due. The snow must have kept some of us indoors this week, but we made it to Poland. Remember our prayer focus this week is our International Staff in South America. Cari Walsh is ministering in Argentina with Campus Crusade for Christ at the Univeristy of Buenos Aires. Pray that the Lord would prepare the hearts of the students to know God more and for team unity.
*As of Monday, February 8, 2010, we have walked 6309 miles. This week, our Walk to Jerusalem virtual tour is taking us on a side trip to Spain. We will head back to France before detouring to Germany and Poland. Click HERE to print some great fun facts on these countries.
*As of Monday, February 1, 2010 we are at nearly 5100 miles. Our virtual walk to Jerusalem lands us in France this week. The cold, icy weather slowed our pace somewhat, but you all are doing great!! Since we are ahead of schedule, let’s take a side trip to Spain to visit Caroline Clay, who is studying there this semester and getting ready to celebrate her 21st birthday on February 13.
*As of Monday, January 25, 2010 we are clocking in at 1898 miles. We are still "walking on water" in the Atlantic Ocean so keep your eyes on Jesus, lest you become like Peter and start sinking.
*As of Monday, January 18, 2010, we have walked 1788 miles through Washington, Philadelphia and New York. We are now crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
